How does Carson's Cookie Dough Support Kids and Adults who are Differently-Abled?Carson's Cookie Dough's mission is to support kids and adults who are differently-abled while providing a quality, convenient and delicious product. Our ultimate goal is provide engaging and fulfilling employment for differently-abled members of our community. Since we are just starting out and can't hire employees yet, we are fulfilling our mission by donating a portion of each cookie dough kit sold to organizations who support the differently-abled members of the community.

What do I need to bake the cookies at home? All you need is an oven (or toaster oven) and baking sheet. Our dough comes pre-portioned and packaged in a kit, complete with parchment paper. The dough should be stored in the freezer. When ready to bake, preheat your oven and take the cookie kit out of the freezer. Place the included parchment paper on the cookie sheet and then place the pre-portioned cookie dough on the parchment paper, 2" apart. You can make one at a time, or all 10. Unbaked dough should be stored in freezer.
-
Is your cookie dough edible? No, our dough is made to be baked. It contains raw eggs and flour, so the dough should be baked until it reaches an internal temperature of 160F before eating.

Why did you start Carson's Cookie Dough? And why cookies? We started Carson's Cookie Dough to support the differently-abled members of our community. We were inspired by our son Carson, who has autism. Carson brings so much joy to our lives and is one of the hardest workers we know. We want there to be interesting and fulfilling employment opportunities available to him, when the time comes, so we decided to create them for him and for other differently-abled members of the community. And why cookies? Because they are Carson's favorite!
